Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real impact?
This service is a day service located in Maryhill, Glasgow. Currently supporting 8 autistic people to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.
You will support people to access the service by providing transport and use the service as a base for accessing the local community.
Those you will support enjoy a range of activities including a range of sensory experiences, watching films, pampering sessions, local canal walks, swimming, and accessing the community for discos and local restaurants.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks
- Build meaningful relationships and create personalised support plans.
- To develop the outcome based support plan in line with relevant policies and procedures and current legislation.
- To be actively involved in the service planning, delivery, coordination and having autonomy within the team.
- To ensure service provision is of the highest quality, demonstrates best practice and promotes safeguarding.
- To ensure accurate and robust recording within Scottish Autism’s recording systems including online systems.
- Comply with Finance processes to safeguard individuals.
- To build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to maximise the effectiveness of the service.
- To ensure all actions comply with SSSC Codes of Practice, SA’s policies and procedures.
- To be a Keyworker, leading regular Keyworker Meetings and participating in regular review meetings.
- Encourage independence and community involvement.
- Support activities like swimming, scenic walks, social outings & more.
- Work across Housing Support & Outreach services in a varied and fulfilling role.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required
- Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG).
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence essential.
