Job Overview

We’re looking to offer amazing, friendly, customer-focused people inhouse training paid at £12 per hour until qualified.
You must have great customer service skills and be a team player. You don’t need to have experience of driving buses or large vehicles, as we’ll provide training to help you get your licence. You must, however, hold a valid car driving licence. A good grasp of basic English and maths is essential as you’ll be dealing with our customers on a daily basis, and a good knowledge of the local Lanarkshire area would be helpful. You need to look smart and professional and be willing to work shifts. If you have these qualities, we can teach you the rest.
You will also need to be able to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check if we offer you a position – that’s a disclosure of any criminal convictions, cautions, etc.
Once you’re fully trained, pay will be between around £30k annually (for full time positions). This position is full or part time and permanent.
You will also get 28 days paid holiday per year (inclusive of statutory bank holidays), a company pension and free bus travel for you and your partner on our services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Key Tasks
- Providing a cheerful, friendly face to our customers, ensuring that all of our customers are delivered amazing customer service.
- Driving Company vehicles carefully and safely, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Advising customers of fares and taking payment via cash or contactless or checking valid tickets and passes, accounting for fares processed.
- Being an amazing team player, ensuring that our services operate day in, day out come rain or shine.
