Job Overview
As our Social Support Services continually seek to grow, we have new and exciting opportunities for compassionate and hard-working individuals.
You will work as part of the team to support service users in the community to help promote their independence.
For this specific role our team will be supporting an individual in her own home in the Braehead area. Flexibility is required as the working pattern will include days shifts and sleepovers.

About the Service: –
Hi I have autism. I have moved into my own home and am looking to build a team to support me on this exciting new chapter of my life. I am looking for a team who are flexible, motivated, good communicators and can support me with a good routine. I enjoy activities such as walking, swimming and gym and socialising with my friends.
The Support: –
We are looking to support our service user on day shifts and overnight (sleep overs). Due to this requirement, we need a team in place that can be flexible. You will predominantly be based within her home evening time but on the odd occasion there will a requirement to take her to a club on a Friday night so having a full UK driving licence is essential.
We would love to hear from anyone who has good values, flexibility when it comes to working hours and believes they have the right skills to support our service user.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Key Tasks
- Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
- Support service users with medication where required.
- Support service users in participating in social activities.
- Providing transport.
- Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
- Carry out light house duties.
- Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
- Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required.
- Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
- Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community.
- At all times, be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
- Report a service users progress on the correct platforms.

Qualifications/Tickets/Licences Required
- Full UK licence.
- PVG and 2 satisfactory references.
