Job Overview
Our client is looking to recruit someone to run the reception of our very busy garage in East Kilbride/Jackton. the role includes. speaking with customers. controlling the workflow in and out of workshop. producing invoices and ordering parts.
No previous garage experience needed but must be good at learning new skills. have good interpersonal skills and be organised and punctual.
You will be the first person that our customers see or speak to, so friendly, polite and professional is a must.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule and manage appointments for vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Handle cash and card payments efficiently.
- Coordinate with mechanics and other staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep the reception area clean and organized.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
